Operation Army Truck has finally gotten some more gears to play with.  With a simple hole in the floor and three days under the truck lifting heavy pieces of iron my 1986 Chevy 1-ton has gone from 3 speed to 5 with a lower low range to boot.  The best part about it?  we worked it out at a local shop with a lift, outdoors!  yes a week before December 25th and we were working outside in shorts!  If you can overlook all the people, traffic, smog, and regulations southern California is a pretty great place to live.  As soon as driveshafts arrive we'll be crawling and cruising while our left leg starts getting a work out.  Stay tuned for the full story.
