In the last installment you saw where I set up and welded the Upper Link Tabs to the housing. The next step was to weld on the back plate/crown piece. This part helps add overall strength and rigidity to the entire unit, including the tabs, helping to prevent the urge for them to rip off the housing. As you can see the back plate is welded to the truss, housing, and to the tabs.
Next time we will look at the finishing pieces of the upper link mounts/crown unit.
