New guts for Clampster

Clampy is at Marlin Crawler in Fresno, California (www.marlincrawler.com) and is under the knife getting a new engine. stay tuned.

3. Do you have a blog with a detailed build of the clamp? Looking at building a Yota crawler, the mag needs more Yota tech, and I'm a jeep guy... Just sayin, they're real popular and real capable.

4. I've heard of people putting the 2JZ-DTE twin turb power house in those old yotas. The high reving motor would sure be a ton of fun in the dunes... then again the lack of useable torque down low wouldn't make for a good all around trail rig. It sure would be cool to see the right way (or the peterson's 4wheel and off road way) to do that trans plant!

5. I have a 1980 version of clampy and am having a very hard time finding a used transmission for it, do you know any place to look or are those 4 speeds impossible to find. Also do you feel comfortable with the frame repairs you had to do on clampy mine is rusty as well

7. Which one of the Tacoma 4cyl engines will you be using the 2.7 or the 2.4. I have seen superchargers and turbos for the 2.7L (what my truck is) available through L C Engineering. Are there any plans as far as that goes?

10. they r great trucks i have hade and dun 4 of them an 82 84 88 89 and a 90 4 runner and i would build a nother one and will so i have came across every thing that can wrong so good luck have fun with it i am looking forword to cin wat u do
