Toyota Land Cruiser Camper

    Check out this awesome Toyota Land Cruiser Camper I saw at the Toyota dealership in San Luis Obispo, California.  I wasn't able to find anyone that knew anything about it, but i assume it's from overseas as it had foreign plates.  I can only imagine the travels it has seen.

1. Trust me, no you don't. I drove one from Houston TX to Muskogee OK and back. I'll never do it again. It felt like it was going to roll over and play dead any second the whole trip. And it was newer than that one and had a "1-ton" suspension under it. Very top heavy. You can increse the spring rate to haul the weight but the track width will not handle the hight. Think of what it would be like to be doing 55 and have 3 semi-trucks bumper to bumper pass you doing 70. It's not fun let me tell you. If you just have to have one check out the RV dealers, new car dealers don't know nothing when it goes past drive train on these.....ANIMAS

2. Looks WAY cool! I have seen a couple of the bronco pop-up campers and like these little camper set-ups. But I agree with "ANIMAS" that that truck as cool as it looks would definatly be a bit scary! No worse than a normal pick-up with a camper in the back. Actually the lil' Cruiser would be a little better I would think?!?! Too bad its not a leaky pop-up style then it wouldn't be quite as bad. Still be awsome! (-;
