First is finish all my articles for our July Issue. These include a rebuild of the power steering and hydroboost on the Army truck done at Off Road Unlimited, Lee manufacturing, and Vanco. Then there is the installation and testing of an ARB suspension on a new 2008 Toyota Tundra at 4-Wheeler’s Supply in Arizona.
Of Course this weekend we went to TDS and did some wheeling and testing of our Jeeps, me in the big UAJK and Pewe in his father-in-law’s “Pete’s Jeep”, which was good since we both found things that we need to dial in before the trip to Utah.
I also still have Clampy under the knife up at Marlin Crawler, and the Fun Buggy over at Poly Performance, both of which I need to give some attention to prior to Moab.
And then there is the welding bench project, check out my new Wilton vise, Red Sled sitting derelict in the shop since I started working on the interior, and my continuing saga of trying to convince Mercedes Benz to let me “test” a G-wagon across the Rubicon.
But finally, check out this awesome camper and trailer, if I didn’t know for sure I would think this is some magazine Editor’s vacation home. Truthfully though, this looks ideal, a camper, a flatfender and nothing ahead but open road.
