It’s all about the illusion of control. For a few years now I have been testing my luck and battling my better judgment as time and time again I continue to push the limits of myself and my motorcycle. Though my passion and career is based around everything with four wheels and a motor, once and a while I break away from my everyday life to engage in what best could be described as a series of luck filled events and spit second decisions, most commonly known as motocross. Though my Honda CRF250 is no replacement for my 4x rig, it does offer a different perspective on terrain and line choice and has allowed me to transfer techniques taken from both my outdoor hobbies and use them to become a more well-rounded off-road enthusiast. With so much technology constantly invading the new vehicle market it’s nice to get back to basics with a simple kick start of the engine and release of the cable driven clutch. Now if I could only figure out how to cage my bike….
