The Poly Performance team is kicking butt on the ol' buggy project. In the past few weeks we’ve nearly finished the interior floor, started mounting the Art Carr shifter, ran brake lines and installed the rear steer control valve. The old tool/produce drawer in the back has been canceled due to lack of space for required items like a battery and Kilby air tank, but sometimes less is more. Minimal body panels have been made and the Wilwood brake and Lokar throttle pedal are in place. Also a small coolant overflow tank has been built behind the passenger’s seat, and in the back there is a tie down bar mounted around the edge of the rear storage bin aka the bath tub. We worked with an engineer from Edelbrock/Russell on much of the plumbing and will post a how-to of plumbing A/N hoses and fittings in the next few days.
