The Fun Buggy is also getting ready for Ultimate Adventure.  Currently being reassembled and plumbed.  The next week will see a ton of final issues dialed in and hopefully all the wiring will come together easily.

rear axle catch can

The Poly Performance shop has been going strong on the buggy with "909" Rob building an awesome light rack for the 4 KC HID lights and Chris "Brownstar" working on getting the suspension and shocks back on the buggy.  Meanwhile I tried my hand at tig welding a small aluminum catch can for the rear axle.  The rear axle is a steering axle which means it holds less gear lube than a normal rear axle, since it will see highway speeds and more heat the rear axle needs to be able to vent, but it might also pump out gear lube, this can is at the end of the vent tube and it will fill from the bottom so if the gear lube comes up the vent line it can stop here and then be pulled back down into the axle as it cools.
