cool truck

The other day I took a little drive to the desert.  I actually had some work to do that I needed to go out there, (i can't afford to just drive around with fuel prices these days) but it really is one of my favorite past times other than wheeling and wrenching.

On the drive I checked out every cool, crazy car and 4x4 I could find.  here is a sampling of the stuff I saw.

1. That little mitsubishi wagon is cool! i saw a fellow who sold and imported them in the outback a few times,a customer of ours. they can run down the highway pretty well and he said they were liftable.using some big nasty ATV tires like the wooly boogers and such!
its like a 1 point something engine size and he said in stock unlifted form a hay trailer could be towed, IDK, he was a likkle tipsy when he did a little peel in front of me. Ide love to have one to tool around in!Hope ya had a great one tooling round the desert,did ya stop in a diner an have a cheeseburger and a dr pepper?

4. Cabover 4X4 are the coolest. I really wanted to build a FC-170 a few years back, but had a real difficult time finding one fixable. I started building a cabover design using VW bus, still in work though. But think of it, if you are sitting on the axle there are ZERO blind spots. Anyway, maybe one day I will see this design complete by my hand or see it in another form in your garage.
