Rally racing is awesome and probably the most fun you can have in car off road. I’ve been playing with my ’04 Subaru WRX wagon for sometime now and with the turbo charged 2.0l pushing out around 290hp at the wheels, this little all wheel drive gets it done. Before I received the car from North Carolina my father decided to partake in a little rally action of his own. Now, we’re not sure if it was the racing through the fields or the autocross that caused it, but somewhere along the way the driver side rear trailing arm received a nice bend. Enough to give the rear tire a little too much added caster. So, with the car out here in So Cal with me I ordered a new trailing arm and fought through some good old fashion Carolina lock-tight (rust) and bolted in a new arm. I have a few rally plans myself and if time permits we may get to see just how crazy this little blue wagon can get.
