I think it’s time to bring back trail riding. I’m honestly pretty tired of all the competitions. I miss hearing people talking about their last trail ride and how cool the town was or some neat aspect of the trail or cool site to see. Now don’t get me wrong I want it to be challenging and I know competition breeds new innovation and ideas. I simply worry a bit when I see people completely abandoning the notion of starting with an existing rig or chassis and making it cool.
And though I agree that tube buggies have their place in the wheeling world, I am and will always be a bigger fan of taking a manufactures creation and modifying it to fit your needs.
