I know it’s a pain at times to pencil in a few minutes to crawl under your rig and make sure that everything is as it should be, but it’s honestly worth it. Company vehicles are the best example of what happens when this doesn’t get done. During a lift kit install a while back we were removing the original rear shocks from the truck and found that the exhaust had been pressing against the rod cover. Obviously this didn’t happen over night and while there’s never any need for crying over spilled milk it does serve as a gentle reminder to look under your rig as often as you can, because if you don’t have an idea of what things look like when they are fine, it’s that much harder to spot subtle things that may be going to the bad.
