I get a little nervous every other year when my Grand Cherokee’s DMV registration shows up in the mail due to the smog regulations here in California. It seems like each year the specifications for passing vehicle emission standards gets more stringent. This isn’t really a bad thing, as I remember when California’s air was dark brown. Ahhhh, the days when the old lungs hurt from breathing that dirty air in, that really sucked. My biggest gripe, I guess, is about the price of any auto parts related to smog emissions, they know they have you over a barrel, these parts have to be replaced if bad.
