By now you’ve probably heard all the buzz about the new Ford F-150 Raptor. Well the tales of bypass shocks, a selectable rear locker, and a extra wide stance are all true and we not only have all the nitty-gritty on the pre-production truck but I was able to spend a week with their modified Class 8 version and managed to grab a few hours of seat time during the Baja 1000 race. Participating in the race for Ford was strictly an exercise in R&D, and while their goal was only to finish the race, they still managed to take 3rd place in their class. We will have the exclusive story coming up in the next few months that detail the development of what will soon be one of the most competent production ½-tons ever built. So just stay tuned….
