The coffee isn't great, but it's usually hot. and the donuts aren't awesome, but they have plenty of sugar and stuff like that so I figure it qualifies as breakfast. I think one of my favorite things about this place is the congressional meetings going on out front. Every time I stop there are a few codgers out there discussing the lay of the land. who did what wrong, who did what right, and who died recently. today I overheard a story of an old couple who was driving and the wife was talking and finally asked the husband why he wasn't answering her questions. turned out he had died in the car beside her. she had literally talked him to death! they all got a kick out of this story and one guy almost died laughing right there between his smokers cough and nasal chuckles. I'm still too young to join these senators and congressmen, though I do sit and drink my brown brew with them some mornings, but I hope when I'm old enough there will still be a place to congregate and spew some bah-humbug at the world. I'd hate to think all the old guys of my and future generation will be just congregating on line somewhere. I can see it now, it will be called getoutofMySpace.com and it is for old guys who want to drink coffee, and moan about how better it was when they were kids.
