This would be an awesome tow rig

I've always thought that an old Cadillac would be an awesome tow rig for my rock buggy or trail rig.  Many came with giant v8's and enough weight to control a heavy trailer.  I'd add a huge tranny cooler, a 14-bolt rear axle with a locking differential to get us up some rutted dirt roads to the trail head, some air bags and upgrade all the brakes to big disks. I'd outfit the car with some white wall snow tires for additional grip. Add a trailer brake controller and maybe a spare fuel tank and we'd be stylin all the way to moab or where ever we wanted to go wheeling.   if you really wanted to get crazy you could even build a gooseneck hitch into the floor of the trunk, and have a quick removable trunk lid so you could hitch up the goosneck trailer for even more control.
