What would you ask Chrysler?

What would you ask the Chairman of Chrysler if you had a chance to ask him anything?

Tomorrow at 11AM I will be having lunch with Jim Press the Vice-Chairman and President of Chysler, and Steven Landry the Executive Vice President of North American Sales, Marketing and Mopar Parts and Service. I'm going there representing you, our readers so what should I ask him? Email your questions to fred.williams@4wheeloffroad.com or reply here and I'll try to get as many of them past these guys as possible. Whether it's ideas, gripes, questions or concerns about the third largest US automaker, and the home of Jeep and Dodge trucks. Send me your ?'s and I'll report back with their answers.

by the way, that photo is of a Dodge Coronet station wagon, my mom had one when I was a kid.

1. Who will be the first to produce a hybrid/electric/hydrogen car that sells for $15,000, gets 40 mpg or more, seats 5 and carries a full load of groceries home or luggage for 3 to the airport?

2. Everyone loves WWII flatfenders. Size, ease of entry/exit, ergonomics, narrow wheelbase, low profile. Why can't you build what everyone wants?

3. I've wanted a Jeep for 14 years, but I refuse to buy one because of the fuel economy. I want to have fun in a Jeep, but can't bring myself to break the bank to not only pay for it but to also pay for the gas! How about making a rugged, durable, affordable Jeep that maintains it's horsepower?? I don't want a luxury Jeep like what people are buying them for these days. Ideally a Wrangler or Grand Cherokee body style with the above qualities. Thanks!

4. Re: Quality & Luxury -- In the mid-range cars, Mopar has always seemed weak on the luxury/quality feel compared to, say, Buick & Toyota. How can that be increased without increasing costs -- by design, materials, soundproofing, technology.
By the way, I've been Mopar all my life and own a '70 Challenger R/T, '64 Valiant Signet 200, 84 W350, and two K cars, as well as an '04 Prius & an '89 Buick. Next car would also be a Prius, unless Mopar can make improvements. Would really like a Prius Pickup for light contractor work. Can you do that? Go Mopar.

6. My boss' van just broke down - he wants to know if you can do a little quid pro quo and bail him out since he helped bail you out? He wouldn't mind having the word Chrysler on the side of it, too...
