Boone Road Finally Graded

If you had visited the Hammer Trails in Johnson Valley recently, you know that Boone road after the bridge hadn't been graded in quite a while.

Saturday, after I passed the new bridge, I noticed a berm of fresh dirt on the side of the road. Ahhh no way, someone finally graded it! The road from the new bridge to the lake bed used to look like a trophy-truck race course with major whoops. Not that I don't like whoops, but this wasn't the place for them. So if your headed to the Hammer's with your motor home, feel lucky, you won't have to deal with the whoops for a while.
