I got on the road yesterday with the Rubiwagon and the '08 3500, but not until 5pm, so I spent the first hour in traffic with everyone else. Eventually I was hauling on the open road and the Big Horn edition Dodge didn't even notice the hills with the 6.7 Cummins knocking down miles without a care for the heavy load behind it.
Eventually night arrived and a tall coffee could only fuel me for so long so an hour after the bright lights of Vegas I finally found some gravel roads to park my tent for the night. There was a full moon and only about 45-50 degrees so I rolled out my Swagman swag in the bed and closed my eyes. Road trips rule.
