I drove my Jeep Grand Cherokee home for the first time in about two years for some spring maintenance. I went through everything, oil change, radiator flush, spark plugs, blah, blah, blah … However, I found myself even working on the sound system, and unbelievably accidentally clipped an RCA cable in half. What a major pain, I had o buy a new cable, and then trace the old cable back to the head unit. This required pulling the carpet up, molding out, and the entire dash had to come apart,including instrument cluster (not shown). I’ll never fess up to how I cut the RCA cable, but here is a word for the wise, be very careful when you are working around anything electrical.
