The Build Outline

Get your pad and pen ready!

Do you consider yourself an organized builder or are you a go with the flow type guy? I am 100% someone who has to have organization. This means before I ever lift a wrench I have the build plan sketched out, I have all my parts, and a specific time frame in which I use to keep myself and others on task. This may sound like an up-tight way to be, but if I have learned anything, it’s that being organized and setting strict deadlines is the only way projects get finished. Now I know that we all don’t live in a perfect world where things come together perfectly and smoothly all the time, but it all goes back to focus and direction. I have friends that are still working/trying to finish rigs they started over 6-years ago! My personality simply can’t handle that! So how about you? Do you keep a pen and pad handy or is your rig in a thousand pieces with a tiny little minuscule light in the distance. At the end of the day it’s all what works for you.
