Ultimate Adventure 2009, Trail Day #1 was a raging success! We are now safely back at the hotel, making repairs and getting rest for the road day tomorrow.
We hit the trail head at about 9am this morning and got off the trail at about 8pm for a FULL day of wheeling in Western Pennsylvania. I'm not 100% sure where we wheel, and I'm not sure even all of the local know where we wheeled but it was an awesome off road park! Clues to its existence are in the photos, if you can't figure it out you're blind and will just have to wait till the November and December issues come out.
Overall it was a good day. We had one flop, a broken tie rod, damaged steering box, one blown trans, and blown ring/pinon. And besides some dents and scratches I believe that is all that our group of wheelers broke on day one. Who broke what, you'll have to wait and see.
