What’s the engine of the future? Will it have 4, 6, 8, or even 10-cylinders? Are small block Chevy swaps a thing of the past, and has the marriage of smaller engines with turbochargers revolutionized the way we look at power potential? These question’s echo in my mind from time to time, and I know for many of you looking to modify your trucks power plant they probably have a familiar ring. It’s not to say that I think big blocks are a thing of the past, but when a small B-series Honda engine is putting out 500 ponies from a turbocharged 4-cylinder, then you have to stop and ask what potential lies beneath the intake of my V-8.
