Classic Daily Driver Trucks

I hung out with some friends and the Grand Mesa Jeep Club and Colorado Canyon Crawlers Four-Wheel Club Saturday in Grand Junction, Colorado. The Grand Mesa Jeeper's held their annual off-road show and swap meet, I spent the day with them and met some really nice folks. What a good time.

Nice driveable Army truck.

Besides the numerous very cool club member rigs in attendance, there were two rigs that stood out to a few of us, we thought would make great daily drivers. A beautifully restored power wagon and Army truck.

Later we hit the trail four-wheeling just North of Grand Junction, you folks have it east, wheeling areas just a minutes from town. Awesome!

1. Sorry I missed you Mr. McNulty... I was trying to track you down, I was the one with the large blue Great Dane, '01 Ram 2500 on 12 bolt H-1s parked over by the Off Road Design group, and (I am sorry to say) the red Fourwheeler shirt on. Shot you an e-mail with some info on the Ultimate Adventure build this year and some ideas I have for you if you like. Wish I could have caught up with you!! If you are going to be in this area a bit longer, feel free to to hit me up for some more ideas!!

3. Hey T-Dawg!! It was great seeing you and catching up as always! Knowing my luck I won't be able to actually catch you on a trail until next Jeep Safari... but I can hope it will happen sooner!!! Keep it wheels down and good luck unloading those boggers!! Made me think... was that $2K with the beadlock wheels or just for the tires?? Or were those fake beadlocks... I didn't get that close, didn't want Moose to lift his leg on them! Later Dawg!

They were just street beadlocks and yes it was $2K for the whole thing but somebody bought them already. It was good to see you too. Hope to see you on the trail sooner than Jeep Safari!!
