Stupid Government ruining great trucks!

not a clunker

I saw this red Toyota at the local Ford dealership in Morgan Hill, California.

It is an immaculate solid axle Toyota that someone traded in on a new car.  Unfortunately they must have gotten some cash for clunkers cash because it's had the engine destroyed with a sodium silicate solution that turns to glass inside the engine (22R).  It's a very sad site to see this great little truck on death row.  The problem with this single owner high miles truck is no one would have paid the enormous rebate that the seller probably got for his truck towards buying a new car.  It's just sad to think the original owner lived with this truck for 200,000+ miles and then sent it to it's doom for some new econo-box.  Maybe I just get too attached to my trucks.  Also notice this 5.9 Grand Cherokee.  Another rare truck headed to it's grave.
