I need and intervention. This weekend I cleaned out some space in my shop, and sold some old stuff I had laying around. I didn't really need the money (as in I didn't have something in mind to buy), but I did need the space.
So I figured, I'd take the money, put it in the bank, and save it for a rainy day (or future project truck, roadside calamity, dental surgery, etc). But within 48 hours of getting the cash I came across this '91 Land Cruiser FJ-80 for sale, cheap! It's battered, ugly, and used with over 250,000 miles, but I've always wanted one. Someone stop me from helping the economy and putting myself in this Land Cruiser or I may end up living in it down by the river!
Don't get me wrong, I do need this thing. Solid axles, coil sprung suspension, nicely faded blue paint. This retro luxury tank could be my new camping truck! It even has an automatic transmission and air conditioning, something none of my current trucks have!
