Used Unimogs are becoming cheaper as the time goes on and after having two I can tell you that they are extremely slow, but a blast to own. Don't know what the heck a Unimog is? Check out this site and learn to love the street legal tractors!

1. These definitely are some sweet trucks! The Germans had their heads in the right place when they designed and built them!!!
Do you know what year was the first that they had the option to move the steering from driver to passenger sides (with the flick of a lever and slide it over)?? I know the purpose was to make it more adaptable so the truck could be driven from either side. That is some real thinking right there!!!
It is too bad they are so underpowered. I wish I could get one and drop a 24 valve Cummins into it!! That would be a heck of a truck! Power, gearing, clearance, what more could you want??
