When did the Imperial Sand Dunes start charging 40 bucks for a pass? While I am glad and appreciative that we can still wheel there, the cost seem to be getting pretty steep just to go play in the sand. After you add in the cost of a marker flag, gas to get there, and post sand blasting clean up, you've had an expensive weekend! It is still a great place to go, though a little unnerving if it is your first time out!
