My '79 F150, Bluferd, got an instant following when revealed in the latest issue of the magazine so I thought I'd show you some of the current upgrades I've done. I'm actually working on getting it to run right and pass CA's stringent smog malarkey, but that doesn't mean there isn't time to do other upgrades.
First thing done was fix the door handle with some duct tape.
Then I added some more stickers.
A new exhaust was installed to replace the dual glass packs. It's not as loud as it was, but it should pass smog better with a real cat and Dynomax muffler from Chappelle's customs.
Then I filled the bed with a bunch of junk from Van-hack.
Next I covered the seats with the finest Mexican serepe blankets I could track down. I heard recently that a lot of serepes are now made in China, go figure.
And finally I capped the trailer ball with a baby's head.
Bluferd still doesn't run great, but there are parts on the way from LMC truck, so hopefully I'll get it together enough for the Border eNVy trip I want to do. More about that later.
