Lower, stonger, better, but still very slow!
After much deliberation I have decided to re-hash my '97 Ford Ranger project. Some of you may remember the Danger Ranger from 2007 where I basically built the truck from stock to pictured in five weeks. This mad rush was so I could participate in the 2007 Ultimate Adventure.
Between the rollover in the Uwharrie Mountains, parts scavenging, and general neglect, the truck has seen better days. Good news is that a resurrection is in the works! Thanks to our friends at Low Range 4x4 in Wilmington, North Carolina we will begin the rebuild stage of the truck next week. This time we will be taking the build a bit slower since we don't have any major trips planned. We're also using this opportunity to basically start over with the truck and take it to stage II of it's build life.
Of course you'll be reading about this in the pages of the magazine over the next few months, but we will be leaking spy shots of it on our 4Wheel & Off-Road face book along with the Low Range 4x4 facebook page as well. So be sure to "Like" them both and check back for web exclusive updates that will appear here and on our book-face sight as well.
